Yes! 2018 is here with an amazing calendar of our favorite music festivals, as we dig into the year, we happily look forward to having a good time. This is another chance for our favorite music festivals; let’s take a look at some of the music festivals that will sake the whole of Europe once again.

Nuits Sonores, France

This is one of the biggest electronic music festivals celebrating a big anniversary in France.  The festival holds its 15th edition this year and runs over 40 locations in Lyon over five days. The festival starts off from the heritage sites and landmarks and rolls over to industrial music locations for the high-production music events. The festival brings together all genres of good music and other creative fields of art such as design and architecture. This year’s festival will hold in a new venue—the vast Fagor-Brandt factory which can hold a whopping 14000 revelers. Lineups for this year’s festival is programmed by the legendary Black Madonna and features stars like the famous Derrick Carter, Bronx party starters ESG, Honey Dijon.the festival will also feature the chemical brothers and the amazing wedding singer Omar Souleyman.

Lowlands, The Netherlands

A lot of fans can’t wait for the next edition of the Lowlands music festival. This festival is one of the biggest social events in the Netherlands. The event will celebrate 25 years of responsible music and art coalition and is poised to bring over 55,000 people together for three days of music, film and visual art performance. Stars like Alt-j, the XX and Iggy Pop, Djs Ben Klock, Nina Kraviz and Robert Hood will be headlining the festival this year.

Meakusma, Belgium

Belgium will once more witness three days fun-filled festival with lots of A-list artists billed to perform this year. The second edition of the “Meakusma” festival features a glorious line up of performers, artists, and musicians with lots of amazing DJs and sound producers that are going to try out experimental sounds to the amusement of the fans. Composers and producers like David Toop, Lucrecia Dalt, and the famous Dj Ben UFO are all billed to thrill fans in a scintillating performance. This years edition will surely be a blast.

Outlook, Croatia

Outlook started off ten years ago in as a small music outdoor show but has grown to become one of the massive music gatherings in Croatia. The show is now of age and has matured into a fine music gathering that features the best music acts in the country yearly. This year’s festival will feature major players in the Croatian music scene, artists like the Bug, Digital Mystikz, and hip-hop plus R&B star Princess Nokia.  It’s going to be a big one for music lovers in Croatia.

Flow Festival, Finland

Flow started off as a small club gathering ten years ago but now has over 75,000 people in attendance every year in the power plant arena in Helsinki. Superstar acts like France Ocean, London Grammar and Moderat will grace this year’s edition, plus lineups for visual arts from various indigenous artists. Apart from music, the Flow festival is known for an exquisite display of food, with over 40 high-profile restaurants billed to be part of the event. Flow is not just about the music, but an opportunity for people to come together and relax, eat good food and forget the vagaries of life in a short while.
